Our transaction was complex and required a type of finesse only an experienced agent like Louis could bring. He asks a lot of great questions and gets a great feel for who you are in a short amount of time. He is also extremely personable, and a joy to spend time with. My first condo was bought when the market was hot in 2016, and with a budget of around 200k and wanting something in the Seattle area, I knew it was going to be a challenge. Louis affirmed it was going to be tough, but had a lot of confidence and drive to find me something. His confidence and hard work ended up getting me a bargain fixer upper, that netted me 200k within two years, allowing me to put a substantial down payment on my current home. Those deals just don't come around often, but he found it, and he had the guts to show me something really torn up because he knew that it only needed 5k to get it back looking pristine. It ended up appraising 80k above what I bought it right off the bat. Louis is great because he knows when to push and when to pull back - a really nice quality in a real estate agent. When selling the condo, I told him to go get me the best deal possible and if you need to negotiate and be able to commit to a number on the spot to get it done, you have my full confidence. Giving him that freedom got me an extra 50k, and got me out of a very sticky situation where I was closing on another home, and needed my condo sold to finance it, and had a pre-committed buyer drop out at the last minute. For the house I purchased using the condo proceeds, Louis found me a home that I bought for asking and didn't have to compete with any offers. This was in early 2018 when houses in Seattle were averaging 10+ offers. Louis was extremely aggressive following up with sellers' agents, and was able to find me a house in Magnolia, that for some reason flew under the radar. I placed a bid just before the review date, and got the home. If it would have stayed on the market another day, I am sure there would have been a frenzy from other buyer agents seeing a house go past its offer review date. Another unheard of situation due to the market climate at the time. I don't think these opportunities are always available, but if they are, Louis will find them for you."

"Louis Torres is an outstanding real estate agent and I had a great experience working together. In late 2017 and early 2018, I was in the market to buy a home in Mill Creek. Louis has lived in Mill Creek for over 20 years so he has extensive knowledge on all of the properties in the Snohomish County area. He always gave his honest opinion about a property and based his recommendations on my personal wants, needs and within my desired purchase price range. Louis was very patient with me while selecting a home. At the time, the market was very competitive so he had a good balance of acting quickly and being patient with me for the right property. We actually toured multiple properties over a period of months before buying my home. He used his connections to refer me to a mortgage lender friend that was extremely helpful, which also streamlined the buying process. Louis answered all of my questions and was very professional, but also knew how to be personable and funny. I'm happy with my experience and will definitely work with him in the future. In fact, years later I sold my home with Louis. We walked through my home together and he gave his honest recommendations on how to best prepare to list my home as well as recent comps in the area.
